Hello Brothers,
The Free Throw Tournament went on as planned and we had a decent turn out considering we were competing with the Seahawks Parade. It was an exciting parade and a fun tournament, lots of kids were laughing and having fun.
We had 17 participants, 8 boys, 9 girls.
All the kids were winners because they competed. Here are the competitors that made the most baskets in the different age groups.
Note: At the council level, competitors take 15 shots and then 10 extra in case of ties. At all other levels, competitors take 25 shots, if there is a case then tiebreakers of 5 shots at a time are done.
9 Boys – Max Herendeen – 8/15 plus 6/10 extra
11 Boys – Daniel Marino – 11/15 plus 5/10 extra
13 Boys – Matt Marino – 9/15 plus 4/10 extra
14 Boys – Ethan McReynolds – 9/15 plus 5/10 extra
10 Girls – Isabella Gessel – 7/15
11 Girls – Lindsie Fitzgerald – 6/15 plus 4/10 extra
12 Girls – Audrey Frigon – 10/15
14 Girls – Claire Russell – 8/10
